28. Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.

29. The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.

30. Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.

31. Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

32. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

33. This he said, signifying what death he should die.

MAZMUR 107 : 1 - 3

1. O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

I  SAMUEL 3 : 1-10

1.And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision.

3.And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the LORD, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep;

4.That the LORD called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I.

5.And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down.

6.And the LORD called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again.

7.Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him.

8.And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child.

9.Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.

10.And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.

39.And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda; 

40.And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.

And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

Berbahagialah orang yang dianiaya oleh sebab kebenaran,

Karena merekalah yang empunya Kerajaan Sorga.

Firman Tuhan adalah kebenaran yang menyelamatkan.

Beritakanlah Firman itu dan juga lakukanlah kebenarannya,

Meskipun banyak yang tidak percaya,menentang bahkan menyesah dan menganiaya engkau,

percayalah-upahmu besar di Sorga

Matius 5 ; 9

Berbahagialah orang yang membawa damai,

Karena mereka akan disebut anak-anak Tuhan.

Tuhan Yesus lahir ke dunia untuk membawa damai
dan Ia disebut Raja Damai dan juga disebut anak Tuhan.
Demikianlah Ia menjadi teladan bagi manusia yang ingin menjadi anak Tuhan.

Maka berbahagialah orang yang mengikuti teladanNya.

Matius 5 : 8

Berbahagialah orang yang suci hatinya,

Karena mereka akan melihat Tuhan

Hanya orang-orang yang suci hatinya lah yang akan melihat Tuhan.

Ingatlah ketika Musa memimpin bangsa Israel keluar dari Mesir

dan Tuhan menampakkan diriNya di Gunung Sinai.

Bahkan para Imam pun harus terlebih dahulu menguduskan dirinya,

jika tidak - mereka akan binasa dilanda oleh Nya. ( Keluaran 19 ; 21)

Berbahagialah mereka yang murah hatinya

Karena mereka akan beroleh kemurahan.

Orang orang yang melakukan kebaikan  terhadap sesamanya akan memiutangi Tuhan yang akan membalaskan kebaikannya itu pada waktunya .Demikianlah kemurahan yang akan diperolehnya

Matius 5 :  6

Berbahagialah orang yang lapar dan haus akan kebenaran,

karena mereka akan dipuaskan.

Mereka yang senantiasa lapar dan haus akan kebenaran akan selalu mencari dan mencari kebenaran itu.

Yesus Kristus adalah Jalan,Kebenaran dan Hidup.

Begitu banyaknya kebenaran yang kita temukan

Tetapi kebenaran yang pada Tuhan Yesus Kristus adalah Kebenaran yang Menyelamatkan.

Dipuaskanlah kiranya orang-orang yang menemukan Kebenaran yang Menyelamatkan itu.

Berbahagialah orang yang lemah lembut,

Karena mereka akan memiliki bumi.

Hanya orang yang lemah lembutlah yang akan mempunyai Kuasa

Berkuasa atas seluruh dunia beserta isinya.

Hanya dengan kelemah lembutanlah semua orang akan tunduk,

Dengan kelemah lembutan semua binatang mampu ditaklukkan,

Hanya dengan kelemah lembutanlah bumi terpelihara.

Matius 5 ; 4

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

"Berbahagialah orang yang berdukacita,

karena mereka akan dihibur"

Ketika Yesus mati dan disalibkan,maka murid-murid dan sahabat-sahabatnya merasakan duka cita yang dalam,namun pada hari berikutnya Yesus menampakkan dirinya dan menepati janjinya dengan memberikan  mereka  Roh Penghibur yang akan menyertai mereka dalam pelayanannya.

Seberapa seringkah kami berduka cita

Berduka cita ketika  melihat ketidak adilan dan kesewenangan

berdukacita ketika melihat para pengemis dan gelandangan yang lapar dan kedinginan

berduka cita ketika melihat para janda dan jompo yang tidak terawat

berduka cita ketika melihat para yatim piatu hidup tiada pengharapan

berduka cita ketika melihat orang lain lemah dan tak berdaya

Siapakah mereka,Engkaukah itu Tuhan

Mengapakah kami tiada juga berduka cita  melihat semua itu ?

Tuhan...masih pantaskah kami menerima Roh Penghibur

Ampunilah kami Tuhan atas kebebalan kami.
